We’ve only missed vacationing at Sandy Key a handful of times in the past 40yrs. This unit was the cleanest we’ve stayed in and they’ve all been clean! Kitchen was very well stocked, seating was great in dining, living and patio. Beds were so comfortable. This unit is super quiet. Sandy Key staff is so friendly, helpful, and working hard to keep every clean . After hours check-in/out super easy. One elevator in the building was down all week which was inconvenient, esp when bad knees can’t do stairs. Saw multiple huge stingrays. Heard they were migrating, not sure since we’ve never seen this many this time of year before. Highly recommend the cinnamon rolls sold daily from the little trailer close to the roundabout (Roling Pin? She sells out by 10am most days). Perdido Key Oyster Bar, Jellyfish (amazing sushi), and Perdido Bay Seafood (under the bridge) for fresh seafood were all amazing as usual. Mother nature gave us 3 days of 2X red flag, so more time in pool than would like. 1 pool was shut down for most of a day but back up and going the next morning. See you next year Sandy Key!
